| Hooded Towels |
| When our first child was born, we received a hooded towel made from a real towel and
washcloth. I loved it! It was so much warmer and absorbent than the baby towels sold in stores. As
she grew though, the washcloth sized hood no longer fit on her head. I made a towel with the hood being
the top third of another towel. I surge two times over the seam between the hood and towel to make
sure it is a strong seam. This allowed much more room and made the towel fit much longer. Our baby is now
seven and the towel still fits.
This towel is fabulous for bath time. Put the hood on and a run-away toddler is now a superhero with
a cape! It can also come along to the beach or pool to wrap up and warmup after swim time is done.
Machine wash and dry.
